Winterkingdom talk.

I had a really fun time setting up and giving the Winterkingdom 2023 talk today! The hour simply flew by for me but it was a heap of fun to share a couple of my original medieval artifacts.

It was really nice meeting some people I know from social media (and their cats!) in person, as it were.

I was able to get some nice photos for future promotions as well and made the very good discovery that the rear camera on my phone is brilliant but the selfie camera really is a bit hit and miss. Nevertheless,  with the timer, I was able to get some nice photos.

I'm also excited to have the following week off to work on new book things.  My head is so busy it's going to explode!

Well I sure talked a lot, and was distracted a tiny bit talking about glasses being more common than is usually supposed (source from a merchant's import records... around 500 pairs in 6 months to his shop) which isn't a part of the bath house. And I chatted about the very cool comb with concealed cosmetics compartments which I desperately want for myself!

Thanks! I had fun getting the photos by myself. Gummibear isn't much of a photographer.

Is that linen you're wearing there? I have a few pieces made in it and it's just gorgeous to wear especially in Summer.

It's linen, and actually my chemise, which is appropriate wear for a bath house! It's been so hot that I wore it for the rest of the day and am planning to wear it again tomorrow. I have a few linen shirts and trousers.
