Medieval roses v strawberries

I've never really noticed how much the old style of strawberry really DOES look like a medieval picture of a rose! It has the little petal shape, colour and centre with the pointy between leaves bit just right and everything!

We still have wild strawberries gorwing in the woodland locally!
