I've made a banner for book displays at markets or book signings and I'm absolutely loving it, but..

but...

I've used my niece for the picture because it's a great photo of her holding the book. But... well, now that I look at it again, it looks like she is Rosalie Gilbert, author, and not me.

What to do?

I can leave it and just be delighted with the pretty photo, or I can take a photo of myself with the book and use that instead, which I probably should do. It's my name on the sign, after all. I just hadn't thought it would look like it was her being me.

My thought was, use a picture of a pretty young woman with the book. She has one. You should have one too! My name is right under the picture though.

Or am I being silly? It looks really lovely!

I guess I'll need to have a bit of a think about it, but I've feeling now that looking at it again and again, that it should be me.

I think you've got a point - it does seem to imply that she's the author. It's a lovely photo, though; I can understand being reticent to lose it!
