The outer is complete now, although I have fabric for an extra gore, so maybe it isn't.*
The lining is coming along well, but I'm such a slow sewer, it seems to be taking forever.
Oh well. Just keep sewing! Just keep sewing!

It isn't. I have decided to add the extra gore in the front (which means also into the lining) and again, slowly sew them in. I was so excited to be up to the part where I join the two together but then I really, really decided that I'm keen for a front gore as well. It mimics the clothes seen in Woven into the Earth: Textiles from Norse Greenland, even though it's not the same country. Herjolfsnes has been a great source of information for clothing from the medieval period.
