You know when someone says something and then it's stuck in your brain forever and you know it'll be with you always?

So, someone thought the round, pink circles of wool waiting to be made into buttons were, in fact, circles of ham. Ham circles.

Now I will forever have a ham kirtle. Not a mushroom-pink one. Ham. Thanks for that. siiiigh.

Of course, I guess it could be worse. A girl I know has an orange kirtle which she loved excessively, but on the first wearing, was told she looked like a traffic cone. Years later, it is still referred to as her "traffic-cone-dress."

Mostly the same colour, and I guess. And I ate Spam as a kid and loved it.

If it helps any, earlier today I was admiring the colour of the wool and the texture I thought made it look a little like pressed pans of blush. Very pretty imo!
