Tablecloth glow-up

I've managed to get what I hoped was the last stripe sewn on the table cloth, but looking at it now, and the remaining two offcut strips of old tablecloth, I feel like I should add them also. 

So, I guess I'm not as finished as I'd hoped. 

I've marked out the next stripe, and pinned it and it just reinforces my idea that two more strips really will look nicer. I guess the sooner I get on with it, the sooner it'll be finished!

This always happens with home sewing projects. They never feel finished. There's always something that feels like it could be done to make it 'better'.

Well, the original tablecloths and the ones in 14th century art do have more stripes on them. I guess the one good thing about sewing the stripes on from the old tablecloth, is that I can position them were I'd like. More stripes near the end fringes will be prettier for sure.
