My home made tent lives on!

I was looking through old photos and found one of the very first year my hand made by me tent went to a medieval event! It seems so long ago and I remember being worried about the potential rain that may occur as it wasn't especially waterproof.

Well, it rained so hard the event second day was cancelled.

Most of us had our supplies of food and drinks and I spent a lot of the next day eating, drinking, making merry and playing historical board games.  The tent help up surprisingly well, with fine misting through the roof but not the absolute disaster I was expecting. It is made from painters drop sheets from Aldi so it was water resistant canvas but not plastic backed and completely water tight.

Still, it's been a few years now, and while I've adjusted the front to have a removable panel which can double as an awning or be removed altogether, the tent body itself is still going strong.
