The sticky tape method is working so well for me! I used a packing tape from the hood edge, and then a regular sticky tape for the smaller line spacing. This was such a wonderful thing. No lines on the outer of the hood which I sometimes don't quite stay on. completely invisible marking out.

I may become addicted to this technique!

It looks really nice. Did you have any challenges with taping curves?

Not too bad. The tape pinches together and stays better than using a fabric tape.
