Experimental archaeology in progress

At the upcoming 1300-1600 Collegium, I'll be running an experimental archaeology workshop on this great breath freshener recipe.

We will be experimenting to get a palatable mix that works and testing it ourselves. I already have learned that the pepper in the photo here is the wrong kind, and I have the correct (maybe) kind to try, long pepper. I will be making several versions of peppers so we can test first hand what difference it makes!

This is a private reenactors only event outside of Brisbane in August.
