Coffret love

One of the hardest thing about portraying the upper classes in historical re-enactment is the getting of the bling. It's all well and good to ponce around in one's silks and brocades and have a pretty circlet or brooch but the other little bits and pieces also need to reflect a high status.

This is where it gets really tricky, as not only is it a breathtakingly expensive venture if one has an open tent or display, but often the items just aren't being reproduced by anyone and literally can't be bought for love or money.

With that in mind, I'm excited to have this little casket coming my way
